The Ocklawaha River Raid took place on March 7, 1865. A small Union force of about 30 soldiers from Jacksonville raided the Marshall Plantation in east Marion County resulting in a skirmish with local Confederate forces near the Ocklawaha River.

The 28th annual re-enactment was hosted by the 2nd Battalion, Hardy's Brigade.
